World-famous adult film star Hyapatia Lee, originally known as "high-a-PAY-sha," was born in November in the year of 1962. In the beginning, this actress performed at the Black Curtain Dinner Theatre in Indianapolis. As time went on, she decided to switch her name to Hyapatia to pay tribute to her Cherokee heritage. Visiting Hollywood in the early months of 1983, she had dreams of making it big in the world of cinema, eventually earning a top-tier status in the adult entertainment industry. From the year 1983 until her retirement in 1993, she captivated audiences through her involvement in approximately 36 movies - some of which were released post-retirement. Regarded as a trailblazer in adult films, she earned a place in the XRCO Hall of Fame in 1993 and received the esteemed "Lifetime Achievement Award" by the Free Speech Coalition in 1995.
These days, instead of filming sexually explicit content, Hyapatia fronts a rock band named Double Euphoric in the role of lead singer. Departing from her XXX film days, she now dedicates her platform to various advocacy causes such as environmental movements and animal welfare initiatives.
