The Family Tradition

Our scene unveils with a view of Paula, a teen-girl, reflecting on her appearance in the bathroom mirror. Through the mirror’s perspective, we witness her impeccably made-up face and in fancy underwear. Despite her polished look, a hint of melancholy is looming in her demeanor.
Her expression is frigid and lifeless. After a silent moment of introspection, she snaps out of it. Paula retrieves something from her storage and drops two antacids into a glass of water, causing it to fizz.
She then conceals her lingerie with a cozy robe and leaves the premise. As Paula joins her parents in their bedroom, who are engrossed in watching television, she is warmly welcomed by her mother who appreciates her adorable appearance and calls her over. Her father appears distant, absorbed in flipping channels.
Paula presents her mother with the antacid water, receiving gratitude for her dutiful care during her illness. Her mother praises Paula's kindness and affection, hugging her tenderly. Acknowledging Paula's loving nature, her mother expresses how fortunate they are to have her, and her dad responds positively to the sentiment.
As her mother consumes the antacid fluid, the family unites to enjoy a moment watching TV. However, their tranquility is momentarily disrupted when her mother visibly falters and collapses. Aware of the simmering tension, her dad shifts the focus by initiating an intimate moment with Paula and recalling a personal arrangement they had.
Paula indicates readiness to fulfill the desires predicated for the evening. Her father eagerly intercepts her with anticipatory custom, desiring a specific initiation of physical intimacy with her.
