Nina encouraging her step-daughter Aften to join for breakfast, but Aften is too engrossed in her phone. It seems hunger can't compete with messaging. Aften spends most of her time on the device. Nina is determined and aims to find a way to detach Aften from the phone. She fabricates a fire alarm scenario, yet fails to divert Aften's attention. What more can she do? Nina proposes purchasing any car for Aften, but Aften remains fixated on her phone. Disappointed, Nina decides on a different tactic. Seeking to lure Aften away from her phone, Nina wears seductive lingerie which proves ineffective. In a final attempt, Nina offers sensual pleasures to Aften, finally causing her to forget her phone and indulge in a new form of connectivity.
