Third Wheel

Marie (Siri Dahl) and her spouse, Donna (Lena Paul), have been attempting to expand their family for what feels like an eternity. They've experimented with several methods and are now drowning in debt. Feeling financially strained and desperate, they make a risky but life-changing decision involving Donna's old university acquaintance, Jonah (Troy Francisco).
He's a kind-hearted individual with desirable genetics. All they require is some intimate rendezvous, and the two wives could potentially fulfill their parenthood dream without any lingering obligations. Claiming the prerogative since she spends more time domestically, Marie is selected as the fortunate woman tasked with conceiving Jonah's child. However, she has no experience being intimate with a man and anxiously hesitates.
Donna offers reassurance, asserting that she will provide unwavering moral support throughout the process. Although enveloped in her own trepidations, Elizabeth fails to discern that something could be amiss with her supportive spouse. Upon Jonah's arrival and revealed physique, Marie is gripped by nerves and doubts proceeding. Yet — almost instinctively — Donna intercedes, reinforcing the necessity of their objective.
From Donna's standpoint, as she consoles Marie, they need to kindle their intimacy initially to ameliorate her concerns, all for the sake of accomplishing their ulterior aim. Empowered by the situation, Marie hedges her overall reservations and embarks on another thrill-invoking attempt. With Donna guiding their course of action, Marie gradually adjourns herself to Jonah's direct presence.
While initially uncertain of embracing the moment, through words of encouragement from Donna, she gradually becomes reconciled to their impelment. Before normalized expectations resume their standing, Marie undergoes the unexpected. Utterly convinced that a handsome question evidently looming overhead - with misplaced additional zeal resembling a key detail.
