Lindsay, played by Eliza Eves, arrives at a residence where Sal Baxter, portrayed by Colby Jansen, welcomes her. Although the two haven't met before, Sal appears ordinary but prefers to keep to himself. Lindsay brushes off any concerns as she happily states her mission to collect donations for a charity event. When another resident, Ed Hoskins, portrayed by Joel Someone, joins them at the door, Lindsay is introduced to him. Ed is more sociable and charming and invites Lindsay inside to discuss her cause.
