Grinders - Part 1

The morning sun is shining brightly into a rundown warehouse, highlighting b-grade movie posters and people passed out in random beds. Lucky Fate awakens, a bit dazed from the previous night's escapades, as his phone buzzes. A caller requests a delivery, and after confirming the details, Lucky grabs his music player, headphones, and sets off on his skateboard.

As he speeds towards Tarzana, Officer Garcia (Liv Revamped) intercepts him, inquiring about his friend Paul (Nathan Bronson). Despite knowing Paul's impending arrest, Lucky refuses to give any information. Officer Garcia reluctantly allows him to continue but warns him of a similar fate if he continues on his current path.

Ignoring the warning, Lucky arrives to meet an old high school mate, Morgan Davis (Maya Woulfe). After their transaction, they reconnect, and Lucky invites her to a New Year's party at the warehouse. Morgan hints at attending before they part ways.

On his return, Lucky pops by his parents' place, leading to a tense exchange with his father (Tommy Pistol), recounting unresolved issues from their past. Feeling disheartened, Lucky and his father's girlfriend, Vicki Chase, briefly converse before retreating to the bedroom, focusing on intimate moments.
