No Nurse Is Good Nurse

Dixie’s still on the phone, bragging that she’s skipping the dull family party by claiming she’s sick. Soon as the house clears, she plans to enjoy every second alone. Then she hears Rachael’s heels on the floor. Dixie hangs up, slumps on the pillows, and starts coughing on cue. Rachael steps in, phone in hand. She’s already called their nurse friend Reagan Foxx to look Dixie over before everyone leaves. Dixie tries to wave it off—says she just needs sleep—but Rachael won’t budge. The rest of the family piles out, and minutes later the doorbell rings. Reagan walks straight to the bed, calm and professional. Dixie coughs again, swears it’s nothing, but Reagan’s already lifting the blanket to check vitals. Dixie blurts out that she’s a lesbian and a woman’s touch might be “too much.” Reagan simply answers that hospital transport is the next step if Dixie refuses the exam. Cornered, Dixie spreads her thighs. Reagan’s fingers work with cool focus—no fever, no rash, nothing to explain. Dixie shifts and lies: “It’s probably inside.” Reagan nods, snaps on a fresh glove, and tells her to relax. Dixie panics, fakes a higher temp, but Reagan reaches for the thermometer. That’s when Dixie flips the script. She grabs Reagan’s wrist, pulls her closer, and plants a slow, hungry kiss. Reagan tastes the lie but smiles against Dixie’s lips instead of pulling away. Dixie’s plan to be alone just got a whole lot better, and she’s not about to waste the chance.
