Rumor Has It

Ben (Alex Mack) and his partner Elizabeth (Athena Anderson) are in the middle of a chat when Elizabeth gets a peculiar text from an unfamiliar number claiming that Ben is being unfaithful. Elizabeth laughs it off, certain that it's a mistake. However, as time passes, these messages keep coming, now with specific details that make Elizabeth start to suspect. Frustrated, she questions Ben about the accusations. Ben is shocked by the betrayal of his best friend Allison (Cali Caliente), who confesses to sending the messages to break them up out of her own desire to be with him. Allison rationalizes her actions by claiming that Ben would be happier with her and that she only wants what's best for him. She believes she's offering him the freedom to be with anyone he desires, unlike Elizabeth who keeps him on a tight leash. Ben is appalled by Allison's manipulation and treachery, realizing her true motives for tearing him and Elizabeth apart.
