You'll Be Safe Here

In this twist of event, Violet (Hazel Moore) has an unexpected visit from her covert lover, Amelia (Maya Woulfe), who arrives unannounced. Amelia shockingly reveals that her folks have discovered her sexual orientation as a lesbian and harshly kicked her out for it. Fearful that Violet's conservative parents may uncover their secret lesbian relationship, they hastily sneak away to Violet's private chamber. However, as they make their way to Violet's secluded nook, they are unexpectedly intercepted by Violet's nosy older sibling, Florence (Gizelle Blanco). Thinking on her feet, Violet fabricates a story, passing off Amelia as a school friend who dropped by to a study session. Safely lockdown in Violet's room, the pair brainstorm their escape plan. They settle on the option of Amelia sheltering incognito in the room and even setting up emergency bedding in the closet to dodge detection by Violet's prying family. Unbeknownst to them, Florence lurks in the shadows, sneaking peeks on the clandestine lovers through a crevice in the door, gleefully taking pleasure in observing and listening to their hushed conversations. Day by day, Florence closely monitors Violet's chamber, lurking wantonly on Amelia, occasionally glimpsing at her from as she changes after having a shower. One eventful day, when Violet is elsewhere, Florence brazenly barges into the chamber and flings open the closet doors, catching Amelia unawares. With an air of certainty, Florence confronts Amelia about her little escapade and slyly dangles an ulterior motive proposing that she desires Amelia for herself. Astounded by the revelation of Florence's hidden desires, Amelia makes an earnest refusal in not wanting to betray her love, Violet. Irked by Amelia's refusal, Florence resorts to cheap tactics, hinting that she might spill Amelia's secret, putting Violet at jeopardy of exposure to her conservative parents. Left with no choice, an apprehensive Amelia yields to Florence's coercive advances with grim resolve, under the terms of keeping Violet blissfully oblivious to the heartbreaking condemnation.
