Allison, also known as
Casey Calvert, discusses her divorce with her friend Sandra, portrayed by Kira Noir. During the conversation, Allison reveals that it took time for her to move past the resentment towards her ex-husband after discovering he had been hiding his true sexuality. She acknowledges feeling foolish for not recognizing his homosexuality earlier and expresses frustration over the years she feels were wasted in the marriage.
Amidst these revelations, Allison starts questioning her own feelings and desires, pondering if societal norms influenced her decisions in the past. Sandra empathetically listens to Allison as she shares her journey of self-discovery following the divorce. Feeling lost and uncertain of her own identity, Allison begins to consider the idea that she might be attracted to women as well.
This leads her to meet Lily, played by
Whitney Wright, a lesbian who offers to answer some of the burning questions Allison has about her sexuality. After an enlightening discussion with Lily at a cafe, Allison expresses gratitude for helping her find some clarity. As the conversation takes a flirtatious turn, Allison is taken aback by Lily's advances, questioning if she is being flirted with after such a long time.
Lily playfully responds by initiating a kiss that leaves Allison feeling weak in the knees.
