Eric, played by
Nathan Bronson, catches a glimpse of his free-spirited housemate Sylvie, portrayed by
Laney Grey, wearing solely an extended T-shirt. His attraction towards her becomes apparent. Nonetheless, Sylvie, a woman who prefers relationships with females, views Eric solely as a friend and remains oblivious to his desire.
Rousing Eric about an impending visit from her girlfriend Marian, embodying Spencer Bradley, Sylvie proceeds to disrobe, exposing her nudity as she prepares to do laundry. Unbeknownst to her, Eric's frustration and animosity mount. The following day, a chance encounter leads to Eric observing Sylvie and Marian engaged in sexual activity as Sylvie carelessly leaves her bedroom door ajar.
The uninhibited duo treats this incident nonchalantly, completely unaware of Eric's escalating discontent. His irritation heightens days later when after returning from the gym, Sylvie playfully appreciates his physique, touching his well-built muscles and cheekily smacking his buttocks, maintaining the friendly façade, while Eric's simmering disdain remains unnoticed. One day, returning home earlier than anticipated, Eric is perturbed to overhear Sylvie engaging in intimate relations yet again.
Exasperated, he resolves to confront her and request privacy when he unexpectedly discovers Sylvie bedded with another woman, Paula alias
Leana Lovings, blatantly cheating on Marian. Baffled by this revelation, Sylvie ushers Eric aside so they can discuss in private. Seated in the living area, Sylvie implores Eric to guard her secret affair, asserting their friendship.
However, Eric snubs such clandestine involvement, resenting Sylvie's conduct affecting his mental state. Declaring his intent to vacate their shared abode and disclose all to Mare, an alarmed Sylvie attempts to ameliorate their companionship insisting on resolving it by resorting to have sex. Eager to reconcile, Eric consents but appends to his condition insisting it is the opportune moment soliciting Paula's inclusion to the intimate affair.
