Being Of Service

Rose, having returned from her overseas studies, is welcomed by the household servant Stuart. Tragically, her parents perished, leaving her with half of their wealth. Stuart was granted the other half.
Comprehending the awkward co-ownership of the residence, Rose insists that Stuart is no longer obligated to serve her. Unexpectedly insulted, Stuart snubs the offer leading Rose to allow him to continue caring for her. The following day, Rose is taken aback as Stuart hand-washes her lingerie.
He jests about the vivid hue and style, leading to Rose's bewilderment. Another time, as she sits for a meal, Stuart astonishes her by securing a napkin around her neck. Annoyed, Rose asserts she is beyond such gestures.
Stuart professes innocence, reluctantly reaching for her lap under the guise of placing the napkin, unfolding her irritation. Later, stepping out of the shower reveals Stuart standing astray armed with a towel. Provoked, Rose brands him a lurker; subsequently, Stuart confesses his desire for her.
She recoils, refusing to share quarters with a pervert; nonetheless, dismissing the notion of relinquishing her ownership. Offering a solution, Stuart suggests forfeiting everything if Rose consents to couple with him just once.
