A young up-and-coming starlet, named Bethany, heads to an tryout for a TV ad. While waiting her turn, she overhears a chat between two other actresses, Yvette and Deedra, vying for the same gig. At first, Yvette and Deedra are moaning fancied the ad was below their level.
Nonetheless, their tune changes when they discover the ad will be made by Chris Dillon, a big-shot film director. Bethany realizes the stakes have just increased. Finally, the casting director, Grace, summons Bethany for her turn.
Grace guides Bethany into another room where a man and a woman are present. The woman, Tina, and implies the man, Chris, is the notable movie director. Bethany has to perform her act in front of these three critical individuals.
